After absent in Game 1 because of an elbow injury, Ginobili returned to strengthen the Spurs in Game 2. With the score 17 points guard from Argentina it successfully led his teammates to achieve victory over the Grizzlies at the same time to equalize 1-1.
The game runs tight at the beginning and positions 17-17 draw at the end of the first quarter. Supporting host lagging increasingly worried after Spurs 44-41 in the first round. "We (the Nuggets) to give them too much space and they control the game. They were very excited and faster, and probably smart. We left a gap so big," said Nuggets coach George Karl, as reported by AP.
