Protested, the FA Cup Final Tickets Rp1, 6 Million

For the first time in the history of the FA Cup final, ticket prices exceeded 100 pounds. Final round that will be held at Wembley Stadium, London, this year valued at £ 115 or equivalent to Rp1, 6 million.

As quoted from The Daily Mail, Friday, April 15, 2011, these rates increased 22 percent compared to last season's ticket prices. Rising prices are directly drawn protests, both from the club and of football fans.

"Paying some money like that for the FA Cup final, just three weeks after the semifinal is a robbery," said Kevin Parker as Secretary of Manchester City Lovers.

City with Manchester United, Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City are the four clubs that qualified for the FA Cup semi-finals. Just as the final, semifinal was going to be held at Wembley Stadium.

However, ticket prices is not the last four tickets for the ultimate round. 'Only' £ 30 to £ 60 (Rp423 thousand to Rp847 thousand). Manchester United and Stoke has allocated 32 thousand tickets for his fans. But tickets for supporters of Bolton remaining five thousand pieces again.

"Prices of food and beverages at Wembley too unreasonable. Each year the fans are required to pay a 'black hole' of financial Wembley," complained Pete Shaw from United fanzine Red News.

England Football Federation (FA) is itself a non-profit organization that returns all income at the grassroots elements. However, they assert that the FA Cup final ticket prices this year are in accordance with the provisions.

"Our ticket pricing structure similar to other sporting events held each year in this country (Britain)," said FA spokesman.
